個人簡介
Lo Kwok Hin is a violinist and practiced the violin since the age of 8. He is currently studying in the Bachelor of Arts in Music programme at Hong Kong Baptist University. Lo was a student of Mr. Patrick Sit, Mr. Anders Hui, Dr. Patrick Yim Tin Sin and now he is student of Ivan Chan.
Throughout the 6 years of Secondary School, Lo participated in different competitions and concerts including Hong Kong Schools Music and Speech Festival, the solo violin competitions, and won the second runner up twice. He has also received the Associate Diploma (ATCL) from Trinity College of London with distinction. Recently, he has participated in violin masterclass given by with Juilliard Violin Faculty, Professor Joel Smirnoff.
As an active ensemble player, Lo is currently a member of the Hong Kong Baptist University Symphony Orchestra and Collegium Musicum Hong Kong. During his studies, he has performed with numerous renowned artists, including Robert Blocker, Melvyn Tan, Anne Akiko Meyers, Wu Man and Liping Zhang.
In Summer 2018, Lo joined the Eastern Music Festival with the support of a scholarship, played as First Associate Concertmaster and Second violin Principal under under Grant Cooper. He has also participated in the masterclass by Anne Akiko Meyers.
Recently , Lo joined the Inter-harmony music Festival(Germany session), and learnt with the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra (NTSO)’s concert master Mr. Ray Chang.
